Yeah. Its a slidey puzzle where you number up to 15. To get it you hold A and tap B while in your ship. Then it will eventually appear.

Next time I will do the stupid annoying cave and the elfy place. Yeah ff1 isnt really my favourite so I dont remember any names.

Well you see I just fight enemies to get money. Actually right now the money is being annoying since everything in the elf town is expensive. But ill grind up. Im lvl 11 the now

I Know two magic shops to outfit yourself with, plus the armour and weapons are extreamly expensive there.

Ok so I sailed across the sea and entered the elf village. Only to find the extortionate prices for everything. Luckily most of the stuff didnt interest me eventually I bought all the spells I needed. Amd entered marsh cave. Which has funny intense music and annoying bats who block doors. After running through the place I eventualy found what I needed. A crown. Guarded by dreaded piscodaemons

I got lucky with only 2 of them. But its possible to have 4.
Dead they are, I flee. But I must return once I gain a mystic key.
I head up to the crumbling castle to the north and find a dark elf masquerading as a king.

now after he dropped the crystal eye. I have to find the blind witch Matoya. Who lived to the north of cornelia.
I give her the eye and she gave me a potion to wake the elven prince.

im not bored I just enjoy every other ff more.

well. He wasnt the source. He was just a guardian of the true beast. However before we can fight him we need to return to Gandalf with the Ruby we obtained from killing the vampire.

I did have a stoner problem and had to go to elfheim for gold needles since only that town sells it.

the lava floor is a bit annoying. But atleast you can come here and not have to go out to get an item. You just go all the way through. Theres a lot of chests though.

I went to the surface and grinded a bit. Then went back down and I know im stronger cos I killed the angel boss in the chest. And all the other bosses too. Except I dont know exactly where iron giant is.

Damn I used to rate mateus as one of the easiest final bosses. Could vayne solidor in XII prove me wrong too?

The soul of rebirth is very grindy. Only ever tackle it if you can sit through that grind. Hell the final boss took 20 minutes of buffing Then holding A as he couldnt hit my max evasion characters. Except josef but he died anyway.

The thing hits like a truck and gets nothing less than 4 turns in a row. There must be some serious level grindage to even survive a couple hits. My Level 55 party never had a chance.

I hope you like FF3NES. It looks profoundly un-fun to me.

Ok. I have started FFIII. The final adventures of Gary Grant Ginny and Gilbert.

This game is much much slower than the last 2. Well I guess its not a fair comparison. Given I played the other 2 on GBA.
One thing I prefer about this game over the 3d version is you start with 4 characters and get your jobs before Jinn.

Can I also ask. WHY ARE THERE ENEMIES IN THE STARTING TOWN. AND NOBODY CARES?? Theres a poor old man trapped because of them.

when I got to the ghost town I accidently walked in some trees and found a secret path so I got mythril helm.

I also got the items in the cave above the starting town.
and I W. Slayer from sasoon castle tower.

jinns cave was annoying. I had to flee out the whole place twice. But jinn himself was easy.

Ok. I have made it... I fought through hell to get here. No literaly the cave of darkness is by far my most hated dungeon. Took me forever to realize to use a M knight.

then I had to fight through eureka with the constant doubting of my skills. Then I had to walk alll the way back through eureka into sylx tower. Then climb that only to realize xande is OP. And the change to 2 ninjas and 2 sages. Re climb the tower. Then stoop so low to using save states. Finally beating zande by hair of a kitten. And then try to fihht dark cloud. Only to be destroyed and unable to damage her. And now I realize my final objective. Destroy the 4 crystals. Then face cloud of darkness. Not gonna lie this game has ate alot out of me. But im proud to have made it this far

There was no way to save in the original FF3 remake while in a dungeon. Inthe phone and Steam ports though you have a Quicksave and Autosave before every battle. It is a lifesaver.

After. But first you have to revisit Mt. Ordeals with the characters that weren't in your final party so you can get their ultimate weapons. Then the individual characters undergo their trials in the Lunar Ruins so you gain Grimoires, and when you have enough Grimoires you can take on the bonus boss.

It was as well, but the GBA version was the basis of the PSP version, so that wasn't an original quality of that game.

Oh right, you'll also have to refight Zeromus with those unused characters, only then can they access the Lunar Ruins. Which is why you need the ultimate weapons from Mt. Ordeals.

so after much playing. I return with all the grimoires. And....

however. Everytime ive fought omega or shinryu ive got wiped in 1 turn. So im gonna have to pull something off.

anyway. Level time.

If you wanna take on the bonus dungeon you're probably gonna need to master all jobs with everyone and go in as freelancers and mimics for best stats and ability builds.

Bartz With rapidfire and something.
lenna with Time and white magic
krile with white and black magic
and faris with masamune and summon except I stupidly put her in back row.

for Omega I had
Bartz: spelblade thundaga with excalibur and defender and rapidfire.
Lenna: with romeos balad and hermes boots. To quickly spam stop on omega.
krile: was a fail. I shouldve made her a second bard.
faris: Dualcast BM with reflect ring and cast thundaga twice on herself

so yup. I killed them. But shinryu must be defeated. I would say hes harder since the tactics fpr him require much much more preperation. The only way to get dragon lances are from crystal dragons who barely spawn. And have a 3% chance of appearing on it.

so I gotta grind quite a bit.

Yeah, I'd say FFVI is the one that needed a retranslation the least since Woolsey did a very solid job with the SNES release, but I still like how this version has more polish and prefer it ever so slightly. Still, it's not as big a difference as, say, FFV Advance that really drove the point home how light and fun FFV is, or the FFIV DS translation that added some much needed punch to an otherwise unintentionally silly script.

Pretty sure the Ultima Weapon depends on a user's max HP. So the stronger someone is, the better it hits.

I always just give it to Terra though since it fits. It's a good weapon that can last you the entire game.

The slots are not programmed correctly. To get more of them cast an echo screen then hit the slots. You have the chance for the jokers doom then.

You know, ive never killed all dragons or have raiden before. but by far the best thing ive found new is the charm for no encounters. I wont use it much, but it sounds really helpful.

I really like the ending to this game. I think its better than all the rest so far. Though V and IV did have more closure.
and I like the epic score of this game too. Makes even a not hard final boss look threatening.

I did every sidequest though. But I did limit myself. I didnt spam ultima. And really terra was mostly a white mage during the fight. The second part took a while to beat because of it.

Now. Ofcourse I have to try Dragons Den. Better hope I have a good bussiness presentation for the dragons. (I really dont know if anyone will understand that).

It can be tricky depending on your level. The Zolom has 2000 HP but if you have a couple of T/S bombs you can make short work of it.

Zolom actually has 4000 HP. Really the only reason to fight it would be to get Beta, and surviving that at this point and winning the fight on top of that (you don't keep it if you escape/get ejected) is pretty dang tough.

Everyone seems surprised whenever I mention this! Barret has to have his original weapon (Gatling Gun), he has to have no materia or accessory equipped and you can't use any command in battle. As long as your HP is high enough to survive (especially his final Molotov Cocktail!) he realises Barret is not willing to fight back. He still gives Barret the necklace (so you can get back to Gold Saucer) then exits bottom of the screen. He even shows up in scene towards the end of the game with Marlene!
