What White Magic spell FLOATs your boat the most?

Exit. Or warp. It is a godsend in early ffs which leave you inside the really long dungeon alot. Without exit. Id never have escaped the cave of darkness in ff3

I'm gonna have to go with Cure, although Exit is extremely handy as well. Protect and Shell are amazing too. I didn't realize how many awesome White Magic spells there were.

Haste, I love Haste.

Haste is just broken when used correctly

Gonna have to go with the Cure series. I'd have gone with Haste but I didn't see it until I already voted, I didn't expect it to be on a White Magic list.

I would go with Haste but I wouldn't class that as a White Magic (and it varies anyway from game to game) so I'll go for... Cure. I know it's common as muck but it is single-handedly the most useful spell. Esuna is up there as well.

Life magic is really far down the list as the most useful yet useless spell. It seems great, but it often has rather high MP cost, and in games with ATB a phoenix down is often quicker and more efficient than using a Life/Raise. In FFXIII, using a Raise costs a full three ATB bars, which in a fast paced game like that can cost you. A phoenix down is instant use. Same with FFXII; a phoenix down is instant and with the right licence grid allocations is better than Life.

If I were to discount haste from my white magic as it could be a time magic thing, I'd go regen. It's just a continual HP gen that will keep you topped up for the most part.

Youll soon love the life spell if you play ff3. As you cannot buy pheonix downs. So your stuck with life. Highly recommend not making only 1 person know life

Haste, on the grounds that without auto-haste, FF9 would be unbearable.

Haste, when you count that as white magic. Otherwise, Arise/Full Life.

Haste or Regen.

It has to be Cure. You'll need HP recovery for most if not all of every game. The others are far more hit-and-miss in terms of usefulness.

Cure. There's no point in using haste if you have like 1HP left. Get those hit points back up!

I guess Full-Life.

Cure is a bit too basic. Sure, it's required to play the game, but lots of things are, yet are still not necessarily the favourite elements of the gameplay. I mean, you wouldn't get past the first stages of any of the games without the "attack" command, but that doesn't make it my favourite action in the game.

you dont need cure if you stock up potions.
(not that id ever do that)

Sure, but then suddenly item becomes your "favourite" action in the game

my favourite action is L+R.

Which most FF do not like except V rewards you for fleeing

Haste/Hastega. It's always very useful :)
