I did and thought the dungeon was a step up from the bonus dungeon in FFI due to the unique character sidequests. Kain's murder mystery was all kinds of awesome.

oh yeah, i liked the dungeons wee funny rooms but hated the main boss

it isnt even explained how theres a second zeromus or anything

I went through it and I thought it was lots of fun. You got to get your characters really good equipment, and I thought the trials were fun too. Kain's was my favorite as well. :)

I dropped the game when I was dredging through them. I don't really enjoy the gameplay system of this game that much.

I did back when it first released. I actually found it oddly satisfying to play despite how boring it was set up. There were also some interesting boss battles and sequences. I don't know, I'm a big FFIV fan so I liked it.
