Favorite ways to explore the map

Over the years SquareEnix has given us some great ways to explore the world around us. We have traveled via ships, airships, giant chickens known as Chocobo's, and even more modern ways such as cars, and hovercrafts.

Maybe you might be one of those who believe in two feet and a heart beat is the best way to get around. How do you enjoy your travel times around the world of Final Fantasy.

Airships for me, too. I like the complete freedom to travel anywhere on the map quickly. Well, unless it's FF3, where airships can't fly over mountains and some have other restrictions too.

When I'm exploring a map to see if there's any hidden cities or something I missed, I like using an airship. I can pick an obvious start point, travel in one direction from one end of the map to the other, then move so that the last tile on one side is the current last tile on the other. It ensures I don't miss a single spot.
