Final Fantasy XV Gets a New Trailer at TGS

Tokyo Game Show just had a brand sparkly new Final Fantasy XV trailer for us! We know you are all excited about the release but since it has been moved back a bit, they have granted us with this lovely piece of work. Check it out!

Final Fantasy XV will be available November, 29th on Playstation 4 and Xbox One. What are your thoughts on this trailer?

Will there be an English version of this trailer? I know Kingdom Hearts 2.8 got both a Japanese and English trailer just before this one got unveiled, so that would be cool.

There are a bunch of things I love about this trailer. 1) The music - I've missed that theme! 2) Lunaaaaa and Noct is there near her! 3) Some actual conflict between the main characters. 4) Ignis is blind holy trout!

Japanese Ardyn totally PALES in comparison to English Ardyn. Like, there's no contest. At all. Japanese Ardyn just feels bland compared to the English guy.

Completely disagreed. Ardyn's seiyuu has the strange but amazing ability to sound entirely laid back (and sarcastic) no matter what he's saying, which fits the character perfectly.

But the English voice is so greasy and sleek! I love it so much!

Also, the seiyuu doesn't even try to sound different from Axel and Reno. At least from what we heard so far. His English VA just sounds so fresh and new!

He hams it up a bit too much in English though. I mean way beyond even FFXII levels of ham.

Agree. Japanese Ardyn, just sounds so friendly and cute ? I swear that we are supposed to be hating/ being suspicious of this guy, lol.

Then again, Japanese Kefka was childish and immature, supposedly, so maybe that's what they're going for.

That was great. It's got that epic feel like a trailer for the next big Final Fantasy game should. It's also the first trailer to really focus on the story that much. It was interesting to finally here them talk a bit about the darkness/plague of the stars thing. And oh man fancy had man wants to kill Noctis? Oh man I'm finally getting all those fuzzy curious feelings about what's going to happen in this game I can't wait. :love:

I'm wondering if those ice girl creatures were supposed to be Shiva? Since they showed it right after Ramuh, Titan and Leviathan.

Loved this trailer! Although I think I've finally reached the point where I need to go on a FFXV news blackout. The trailers are getting so spoilery now. As I recall before XIII released they had a 'launch' trailer that even showed end-game stuff.

I've gotta abstain for just two months longer!!

Yeah I feel it gave way more in terms of story. Now I actually am super interested. I mean I was interested before but now I am REALLY interested.
