So now that sharky has made me watch TNG, DS9, Voyager, and Enterprise, it is time to return to the best thing about Star Trek.
Data.
So because I spent like 4 years watching friggin Star Trek for him, IT IS MY TIME NOW AND WE ARE WATCHING THE DATASODES
Thanks to the e-net, I have assembled a list of Datasodes that we will watch in order. Data is not necessarily central to the episodes, but they involve an aspect of him or his development in some way.
I'll update this with the episodes when I get home!
In the meantime, discuss how awesomely awesome Data is

Yeah Data is one of the best characters in this franchise. Measure of a Man may be my favorite Star Trek episode.

I FORGOT
I'll update the first post with the list soon. In the meantime, we've watched two Datasodes:
Encounter at Farpoint (Season 1, Episodes 1-2):
So this episode introduces Data and some less important people like the Klingon and the kid with the terrible sweaters, and Dr. Crusher. Data's lips are more red and less yellow than they will be later on. Somehow he is dragged in to the trial to answer for humanity despite not being human. While on that subject, Data already shows much feels.
We also get the first "Data Burn" when he points out the prejudice of Riker and explains how he is superior in many ways.
DATA BURN
Other, non-Data things happen.
The Naked Now (Season 1, Episode 3):
The crew gets space drunk, including Data, who has relations with Tasha Yar, proving what a stud he is. He is, apparently, "fully functional" and knows a variety of techniques.
We've already learned much about the wise being known as Data
