pretty self explanitory.
1: FFVI Dancing mad.
While i prefer Neo Exdeath and Grand cross more sometimes. this final boss theme never gets old. Especially the last part. besides KEFKA LAUGH is in the song. insta plus.
2: Pokemon D/P/PT Cynthias theme.
most people agree she is the hardest main series final boss in the games (if we are counting side games then Primal dialga or Darkrai if RNG/Cresselia hates you) but she also sports an epic creepy battle theme, not only that she also has an epic piano intro song too. great theme.
3: Metroid Prime: Metroid prime/Essence of metroid prime.
first 3d metroid, and my favourite. a really great game with a tough final boss. if you cant dodge fast then ya gonna die.
Metroid prime has 2 phases. the first phase is sorta chasey but the second phase lets you know this is final battle. very fast paced. i like it.
4: Sonic 06 Solaris phase 2.
"OMG SONIC 06 GTFO SUM1 BAN HIM"
first: hi.
second: How are you?
third: STFU
i like this game a bit. dont get me wrong, it has NOTHING. on Sonic 2, CD, 3&k or the SA series.
but my expierence wasnt anywhere near as glitchy as people made it out to be.
anyway, this is the music we talking about and this final boss theme is awesome. this Orchestral fast paced beast is enough to save some dignity of Sega.
i dont remember the fight much but its there...
5: Undertale Hopes and dreams/Burn in despair/ SAVE the world.
ok i get it Undertale is done to death by now, great game. but atrocious fanbase.....
anyway, id have a hard time picking a best boss theme let alone final boss theme.
Megalovania is great and i love Your Best Nightmare, it must be the Laugh. i like funny laughs.
anyway i chose this one cos it is fast and i like all the themes in it. theres a 4th part but im no a huge fan of His Theme tbh.
truly reflects a final boss.
6: Destiny The Taken King: Last Stand
So Halo is known to have very good music. well i think so anyway.
problem is theres no final bosses really except in 2.
then comes along Destiny. as MMO's do, they have raids. so that means Final bosses.
the first raid, Vault of Glass, didnt really have a boss them, just atmospheric music.
the second raid, Crota's End, had a final boss theme but it wasnt much, besides it played on one of the early story missions aswell... (but when you pick up the sword to smash Crota's ASS then a short but great track plays.)
the 3rd... Final boss was in an arena area so it wasnt a raid, therefor only 3 people could face Skolas at a time.
he has a pretty good theme though.
that was the first year of Destiny.
then came the only Final boss of year 2. Oryx the Taken King (this is when i started playing) After killing Oryx's son, Crota. Oryxs ship arrives around Saturn. Eventually you "kill" him, but he sends himself to his own realm. Your 6 man team enters this realm and Kill his source of power, the Warpriest. then kill his... uh... pet? Golgoroth. and finally kill his 2 daughters. Oryx must be really pissed. and as soon as you start the fight, a GIANT oryx rises up and his theme plays.
his final boss theme shows that hes gonna kill you if your team make even one mistake. hell if he could, hed just squash you there and then. its the final battle. you. or him.
