It's getting pretty warm in Aus finally, and so for breakfast I really can't be doing with hot porridge - so I thought I'd give these mysterious 'Overnight Oats' a crack and the result is pretty delicious!
I started with a normal sized mug, and added in some milk to about 1/4 of the way up. Then I added in two heaped teaspoons of thick greek yoghurt which brought me to just over half. I sprinkled in a couple of teaspoons of cinnamon, then poured my oats in until they hit the rim (oi oi)
Mixed it all together - once mixed everything sunk back down. I sprinkled in some dried cranberries and gave another stir. I covered it with clingfilm really tight and just left it in the fridge overnight!
The result of this recipe is really thick and creamy, it's almost like a pudding! With a slight cinnamon taste and those lovely berries. I'll be doing this again! So easy!
Has anyone else tried Overnight Oats and have a recipe to share?
