Has anyone here played this?

It's like Minecraft except with a point. Which is good for me because I ain't no good at the whole "do whatever the heck you want" things. No imagination here. But with Builders there's a plot and you do quests to improve your settlement and so on.

Yeah. It's a nice little diversion.

How's the RPG elements?

As far as I have been able to see (I tried it out for a few hours and jumped right back into Rise of the Tomb Raider so my experience is limited), you level up your settlement with EXP by building things - more complicated crafts give you more EXP and so on, but for the character you just get Seeds of Life from doing certain quests to increase HP.

Battle system is basic hack'n'slash fare, but the only reason to fight enemies is to get their drops. Which allows you to craft better weapons, armour and stuff so you can improve your settlement to progress with the game.

Stardew Valley all over again. My girlfriend and I randomly tried the demo and fell in love so we bought it and cannot stop playing. It's cute and fun and very creative. And I hate Minecraft. So It's worth a look for anyone curious about it. But there is a demo to try before you buy

I just played the demo last night and this is probably going to happen. I was having a lot of fun! I didn't get to finish it before I had guest show up but still.

How these people don't know how to build anything though, what have they been doing? Eating berries?
