80 Summons from thirteen games are going to duke it out in a popularity tournament to see once and for all, which summon is the darling of EoFF. Hell they may even get a theme to commemorate their victory*. So who is ready to see which one of our favorite monsters of death and cuddliness will reign supreme?

The tournament is separated into ten brackets of eight competitors. They are taken from the first thirteen games due to the FF Wiki being really coy on which Primals are actual summons/pets and because most of them are already accounted for. Item based summons will make a showing. Don't expect spin-off stuff cause eighty is already too much, you want to do all of them, make your own tournament which will likely gave hookers, booze, and blackjack.

I'll post a separate thread for each bracket after the previous one has been finished voting. You will have up to 48 hours from the thread starting to vote.

*Summon will most likely not get a reward for winning. Chances of this tournament actually reaching the end before I get bored is 1:12 chance. Participants will not be reimbursed and staff will not be held responsible for the laziness of the MC.

Sorry about the delay in this. I'm doing NaNo this month and it's also that time of year where half of my family clan has a birthday (including myself) so it's going to be a bit hit and go for a while. I'll give you the results of the last three tourneys and as usual, ties are determined by coin toss.

Results from the last three brackets:

Onion Knight
Alexander nuked the hell out of Leviathan.
Valefore Ray Bombed Cactaur

Red Wings
Eden mystified Asura and she got dizzy switching heads trying to figure out what she was and passed out.
Phoenix is feasting on roast Chocobo.

Dawn Warriors
Tonberry used Everyone's Grudge to get revenge on KotR that many a young fan abused.
Diabolos won the VIII GF popularity contest over Brothers thanks to his tasteful one piece swim suit in the swimsuit round.

Results for last three brackets are:

Magitek Knight

The Magus Sisters kept bickering with each others after a failed Delta Attack and didn't notice Doomtrain before it was too late.

Shiva and Typhon had a climatic battle that got interrupted by Ultros who called Mr. Typhon back to the Dragon Neck Colesium to help him with his debt.

Ex-SOLDIER

In a serious battle of Earth vs. Wind between Fenrir and Garuda, Fenris suddenly remembered he used to be Wind Elemental as well and used both earth and wind to finally ground the bird.

Sylph sucked the life out of Bomb before he even had a chance to self-destruct. Almost like he was a Capri Sun.

SeeD

Hades inflicted every bad status he could on Bahamut ZERO, including Confusion, which is why BZ left and nuked Cocoon instead.

Atmos swallowed Bahamut but while resting in his interdimensional gullet, Bahamut remembered their was actually a time that he used to be the Ultimate summon and with renewed vigor, Mega Flared his way out of Atmos and sent it back to small cameos in XIV and mobile games.

The last two brackets for Round 2 of the Tourney will be up soon.

Results for the last brackets in Round 2.

Tantalus

Valigarmanda's frozen shell protected him from Exodus' Meteor spell and even broke him free to counterattack and win.
Ifrit's origami talent wowed the audience and allowed him to beat Golem's ventriloquist act in the talent show.

Guardian

Anima reached into herself to find her motherly instinct and took Mateus over her... second self? and spanked him for kidnapping ice spirits.
Zeromus couldn't bring himself to harm Mini Mog after seeing how cute it was, which made it easier for Mini Mog to sneak up behind him and shank him like a prison bitch.

Round 3 will start shortly.

I've been following the tournament so far. I can't wait to see who the over-all favorite is going to be. My personal vote will always go to Bahamut.
