Advice on figuring out where i need to be on a 3 year old save (GBA)

I have a 3 year old save for ff6 on gba. I have little clue on how to figure out where I left off.
Besides the fact I'm in the world of ruin.

what clues could i use to figure out where i am exactly and where i need to be? weapons? items? characters? espers?
I would love to start back on my old save without a fresh level 1 start.

Which characters do you have? Do you have Darill's Airship already?

I'm sure i have daryls ship, cause I was parked at jidoor in world of ruin. I'm unable to change party memebers at this point, i can only unequip current or all party members.
celes, edgar, sabin, and setzer are in my current party

my espers are Ramuh, Kirin, Siren, Cait sith, ifrit, shiva, unicorn, maduin, catoblepasl phantom, carbunkle , bismarck, golem
zone seeker, seraph , quetzalli and fenrir.

You have the 4 guys and the Falcon so you can basically now do whatever you want. Which way you go is not really overly important. I would get Terra soon, if you ask me.

Start over and enjoy the experience uninterrupted, rather then just try to beat the game with no memory of the dialogue and story
