Is it me, or does it feel like a couple of old members are popping up left and right. Vincent Thunder God, Momiji, Christmas... I kind of feel like it's 2008 again. :wcanoe:

Hahaha, are we finally allowed to call ourselves old members? Back in 2008 we would been laughed at by the people who were here since like, the very late 90s or early 2000s or something.

If we from 2005 can be considered oldbies, those from the early 2000s can be super oldbies. It also makes them feel good about themselves because super is a great descriptor!

I still think my join date belies the fact that I only really took part in EoFF at about 2012. It feels real strange being called a veteran on the Ciddies list.

I was pretty active from 2005 to 2008, and then less frequently from 2008 to 2012, then I kind of just dropped off the grid around these parts. I kind of like how things seem to have slowed down around here-- trying to keep up with everything here and at the other communities I frequented at the time was pretty tedious!

Now, all of the communities I spend my time at have slowed down. I'm okay with that. I've been a mod at a different forum since like 2009 and it was super hectic there from 2009 to like, 2012, but since then, I've done next to no mod-ly duties there. I may even step down. One less thing on my plate.

I'm kind of amazed that the forums are still active- Doesn't seem a crazy as back in my day, but lots of nostalgia.

Oh lord. And then looking at my post count, I remembered the whole debacle of my being hacked, hacker posting porn, the banning of my account, and then petitioning my way back in under a new name. Good to be back.

Veteran members should really require members to be below a percentage of total website age. Like 25% or something.

Also I'm pretty sure those Ciddies were only a couple of weeks ago, why you doing them again? What's it now? A five times yearly event :trout:

LOL No, I don't suppose they do.

Edit: As I recall, I do believe this conversation pertained to the destruction of AOL cd's because they kept pushing them out everywhere. Good times.
