It was a pretty poorly kept secret by all accounts but it's been made official. I honestly would have been happy with them leaving it at one game. Now it's been announced though I couldn't be more excited to experience that world again... and the trailer is epic!

Also it's nice to see that that concept art that accidentally got posted on Twitter a couple years ago really was concept art, and not just "fan art" like they lied to play it off as being. :p

Definitely excited for this. Games like Last of Us are why I just can't put much thought into games like FFXV anymore.

Final Fantasy just seems pretty silly when you compare it to games like this.

I think I'm going to just pretend this doesn't exist. Don't have our want a PS4 and the first game ended things well. So no trailers or anything for me. It's better that way. Maybe I'll emulate it in 20 years when someone has figured out a PS4 emulator.

I'm hyped, but I'm also a little apprehensive about them going back to Joel and Ellie. I want to see another game in that world, but their story and the ending was so utterly perfect, that it can only possibly be downhill from here.

Also, as a sidebar, does Ellie look different? I get that she's older, but her facial features look like they've changed a lot.
