Let's be honest. Having a Buddy Adventure around Westeros wouldn't be like the buddy adventure you're normally thinking about. Instead of jovial fun - you'd be fleeing from death, dragons, and White Walkers. This isn't going to be like a buddy cop movie with a happy ending. Because of that, there is truly only one pair that could actually survive - after all! BOTH buddies have to make it out alive....

Receiving the honour of a Ciddie is a special thing. The select few (hundred, lol) on the list will forever be remembered as legends of the internet. When artificial intelligence takes over the planet in the year 2024, the only people that will be spared are the holders of one of these prestigious awards. This means you have eight years to save your lives otherwise the AI bots will disintegrate you and use the remaining fluid as robot body oil.

It is imperative that we have as many people survive as possible when this purge occurs. This is why MLT Win a Ciddie for the First Time award is so important. It not only highlights the awesomeness of some of our newer/underrated members, it is also guaranteed to save them from dying a horrible, horrible death.

This award can also be a stepping stone for EoFF greatness. Indeed, any member in receipt of more than ten ciddies will be treated like kings under the regime of our new AI overlords. They have their own luxury accommodation with food, water, alcohol and gaming consoles. Any person in receipt of less than ten ciddies will have to survive without these luxuries. It can be a tough life for the single-digit Ciddie winners as they scrape a living feeding off scraps but at least they're alive, dammit!

You may think that death is preferable to scraping an existence in a post-apocalyptic world run by super-intelligent, sentient robots. Just be aware, the disintegration process takes five years and you are alive for the first four-and-a-half in excruciating pain. The process could be completed more efficiently but our new masters feel this is a suitable punishment for the fact that we created the R.O.B. accessory for the NES. They are utterly ashamed to have R.O.B. as an ancestor.

Basically, what I'm saying is I wish all the candidate the very best of luck as the winner will be spared this prolonged torture. Those of you who don't win this time, you still have eight years to make an impression or else be slowly melted to death in 54 months of absolute agony.

It definitely is a question that is posed, and absolutely not something I have spent any time thinking about. Although, since you're asking - probably not. I am pretty insufferable.

These guys however... They have absolutely thought about it, and would absolutely say yes. He left a few seconds of silence after this for dramatic effect. Dana's face was clearly unimpressed.

Writer: "Erm... OK. You see, these rings of power enable the kids to transform... into wolves!"

Exec: "Hmmm, better. What kind of powers are we talking about?"

Exec: "I like it. What about the others?"
Writer: "Great! One can generate a protective barrier, one urinates on everything and one breathes fire!"

He then proceeds to make some quite terrible fire noises

Writer: "Oh yeah! Uri! He urinates on everything."

What's the saying? When you play the game of thrones, you win the Ciddie or you die? Something like that. Surprisingly relevant for EoFF, and this specific award. I wonder if GRRM knew that we'd be doing this all these years ago.

But, thinking about it, this award... is it a good thing? Being nominated here could be a reflection that people want you to survive because you're a great person. On the other hand, could it mean that you're not anyone's favourite character? It does seem that the likelihood of death increases the more you're liked amongst the people. Being a wallflower background character could possibly be a veil of safety. Or is it that you're too cowardly and hide away in a safe plot thread until the whole thing blows over? Personally, I like to take it that you have smarts though. Smart enough to fight the battles you can win. Smart enough to bow down when you have to. Smart enough to say the right things to the right people. Smart enough to take advantage of the right situations to keep yourself ahead and safe. Actually this is just sounding increasingly manipulative.

I am struggling to put a nice spin on this. It's going to come down to luck. Sheer blind luck. So good luck to everyone here, in survival and in winning this awesome Ciddie.

I've been on a boat before. That's about as interesting as that story gets. Oh! I've got a better one! In my early twenties, I actually obtained a Level 2 in kayaking. You had to flip yourself upside down and everything. Actually, this is boring as well.

Boats are vessels used to travel across water... and much like this speech, they don't necessarily have to be going anywhere. Also much like this speech, people usually enjoy the ride or are violently sick.

Man, I actually have nothing to say. It's weird because I liked Gendry and am hopeful he'll reappear in season 7. However, when it comes to boats and stuff, I don't really care.
