Imagine there exists a lasagne specific restuaraunt with a build your own lasagne interface where you can choose how many layers, what's on each layer etc and have any edible ingredient that exists.

And you've won one unlimited ingredient lasagne with up to 9 pasta layers and anything you want in between them!

What is your build?

I choose 9 alternating layers of pasta, cheese and tomato.

I'm a cook so...

Mine usually go bolognese sauce, noodle, bolo, super cheesy bechemel, spinach, noodle, etc...

Not through deliberate choice! When I was young and living at home my mother never cooked lasagne. And well, yeah, in the four years I've been living away from home, I've not really thought about it.

It sounds tasty though. Maybe I'll ask Mr. Carny to make me some!

I have never had lasagne before.

This physically hurts me.

Afghan style Lasagna. All you do is take normal Lasagna and mix it with Afghan Tandoori Chicken and spice it up. :D

I like a cheeseless Lassagna. Meat, noodles, spinach, tomato, basic, just without the cheese.

Yes I am one of those people who get sick if they eat to much cheese.

Denied.

Honestly, I hate lasagne. Would never willingly cook or eat it.

And that's why I've not had lasagne yet, everybody.

He can barely bring himself to eat pasta. I'm not sure why. I love pasta, yet whenever I cook a large amount of pasta for us to eat he'd only eat it if there was nothing else for him to eat.

I like replacing the noodles with Zucchini cut in strips. It's so fucking good omg.

I use venison and pork sausage cooked with italian seasonings and a lot of garlic. Then you just make it like normal! So zucchini, cheese mixture, meat sauce, REPEAT! Top with more cheese!

Spinach added would be good. That's how I would order it me thinks. It's so yummy that way.

Is it weird that as soon as I saw Freya post in here I knew she'd say SE uses zucchini strips?

Layered, they're delicious together!

I like to use ground turkey as it's slightly healthier, all seasoned up, with regular ol' lasagna noodles, sautéed mushroom, peppers, and onions, and tomato sauce.

I make it weird by adding smoked gouda and/or smoked Swiss as my cheese of choice.

Has anyone tried replacing the noodles with egg roll wrappers? It actually comes out really well. For the filling, I like to use pumpkin, butternut squash, baby spinach, a white sauce, and gouda.
