You're lying on the sofa. The TV control is just out of reach. You're too lazy to move your entire body to pick it up. You hold out your hand and try to will the control into your hand like Luke when he was hanging upside-down in the Wampa's ice cave.

Tell me honestly. You have, haven't you?

I have tired and failed. However, I was able to use the Ecrof, which is an ability where objects bring you to them.

Yep. More than once. Does that constitute a lack of sanity?

Does Accio count?

Does Accio count?

Only if you had your wand.

No, it just means we can be friends.

My name is Luke. What the hell do you think?

Everyone should try to use the Force/magic at least once. How else can you be absolutely sure that you don't have magic/psychic powers?

My wand is always at the ready ;)

Is that the grip Spoke has? If so nope. It really doesn't look very effective.

Of course. I'm curious to know how many people tried it immediately after reading this thread. I...I mean, I didn't or anything.

Do, or do not. There is no try.

I also have this ability. The object is usually a bottle of Jack Daniels.

I like to be more subtle in my approach.

Not really.

I did however try to do Matilda-style telekinesis when I was younger. Which is totally different.

Of course I would attempt to use the force. I mean lets face it, until we get more accurate tests at determining an individuals midi-chrolian levels its really our only real way to find out if we have the potential to be a jedi or not. Speaking of which, why isn't there a dedicated field for this kind of research? It's big brother trying to hold us back I'd imagine.

Regardless, I haven't gotten anything to work yet. I'd imagine my daily training will pay off down the line if I do have the potential though. I really don't have anyone to train me properly so of course it's going to take me a while to get it down. Can't lose hope!
