So weather has stopped work dead 2 days in a row now. I was just going to grind XIV but servers are in maintenance so I loaded up VIII. I never noticed before how long Squalls legs were before. He is like almost all legs. Has anyone else noticed this?

You guys just assume the top of the belt is the waist. It's not. It's the bottom of the belt. Those belts are worn more like a girdle or corset than a typical belt.

I never took Squall to hike his trousers way up. It's like he looked at the youth trend of having your underpants showing with baggy jeans and went too far in the other direction as protest.

That's kind of in character for him, now that I'm thinking about it.

Considering who designed him we're actually lucky he had so few decorative belts. He didn't have the clout to add more at the time.
