Unlike the Prompto trailer that was pretty obvious when and where it took place, I'm stumped with this one. It can't be post Leviathan battle since he has his sight or during it since it's not the right setting. I also can't remember a time that he was separated from the group like Gladio was before Altissia.

I was honestly hoping for his episode to take place during the World of Ruin to showcase a bit more of that setting as well as him adapting to his impairment.

It will most likely be the Leviathan battle actually since it's the only time he's both missing and something significant happened to him. I think it was even mentioned Ardyn was the last thing he saw before his accident. Though I can imagine the episode could take place in the aftermath while the city is cleaning up and Noctis is in his coma.

It's been too long and all I remembered was him losing his sight during the battle. Of course it was more than just against Leviathan, so it probably raged on longer against imperials while Noctis was out of it.
