Rydia was my first favourite character for a while. Plus summons and black magic. Ooft!!
not to say vivi is any sort of bad. Good guy he is. But. Just prefer rydia a bit more. Though the picture of vivi is awesome with Bobby Corwen

Vivi deserves it. :pTo confirm: I marginally like Rydia more than I do than Vivi. I didn't vote for her to be contrary but by the same token I'd be happy with whichever one wins because they're both ace.

That's Whyt, her special summon from the DS version, and it's not eating her hand, it's attacking Edge since he's trying to make the move on her.

Sorry, Rydia, even though I'm not a huge fan of Vivi like many are, I just can't remember enough of you from my brief time playing FFIV about 17 years ago. :(

I went for Vivi though this was a really tough call. They're both great characters that go through loss and growth. In the end, just thinking of that cutscene where Vivi witnesses the Black Waltz destroy the cargo on the airship, and then Vivi working up the courage to cast fire... aaaahhh the feels.

She was holding her own for a long time! It was neck and neck up to around 7 votes each. Still got plenty of time though, things might change...
