Everyone loves Quina (as do I) but I LOVED FFVIII's story and the character progression of Squall was a huge contributing factor to that. He gets my vote easily.

Like others, I went with the character with the chefs hat and the jumbo fork. Sure, there's no denying that Squall has the upper hand in regards to character development but not once did anything he did make me smile. If he had inappropriate Ignis lines then this could have been a totally different vote!
