Waiting or Playing?

So as many of you know either by keeping up with the news or just listening to fans here and on other sites bitch and moan about it, FFXV has a quite a bit of story DLC released and coming up in the next year or so in order to flesh out (some would say "fix") the plot and world of FFXV. My question here is simple, have you been playing all these special character Episodes and patches for some of the chapters now, or are you like me, and waiting for it all to be released before taking the dive and seeing FFXV Complete?

Frankly I feel waiting is the best approach because then I can check out the game a director's cut instead of spending every few months thinking to myself "why the hell wasn't this here to begin with?" which I probably will anyway but I feel it will be less aggravating to take that pill in one go instead of dragging it out for a year.

I can't say when I'll revisit the World of FFXV, but I definitely need time before I jump in again. I have other games to play in the meantime, and I'm content with what I played of the original version (even if slightly let down).

I play character episodes and patches when they come out because I really love FFXV and I'm always glad to have more of it.

I don't feel the need to play them. I'm not really waiting for them all to come out, but I am waiting to just be in the mood to play them I guess. I have the season pass so I should play them someday.

I'm seen the GF play it, and it doesn't really grab my attention, but if I play it I'd wait for the version with more story for the characters.

I can't be the only one wondering how they could wait this long to release a game and still release something that needed significant updates to flesh it out. What is going on at SE?

I couldn't give a trout anymore.

We're getting some free story DLC before the end of the year, and then rest of the story DLC - the trout that should've been in the goddamn game to begin with - is being released as part of a 2nd Season Pass in 2018.

So I paid for the Ultimate Collector's Edition and the Season Pass, bought Kingsglaive on iTunes before the game came out - so that's nearing €350 I spent already, and now SE expects me to pay for a 2nd season pass just to get the rest of the story that should've been in the base game.

You can smurf right off SE. I defended you for a while, but on top of overpriced CEs for Stormblood and Zodiac Age, this is just one step too far. I'll just wait for the YouTube videos of the new stuff.
