Personally, I don't think anything can surpass Radical Dreamers ~The Unstolen Jewel~ from Chrono Cross. As meh as I think most of Yasunori Mitsuda's songs with lyrics are (let's face it; they're all basically reworked versions of "My Heart Will Go On"), this one is really unique.

Anyway, this is tough for me because although i instantly narrowed it down to one series, that series has a bunch of songs I all love a lot. Celes' opera? Though I guess that can't really be a joke answer since it was actually done, and didn't sound nearly as good as it did in my head during the actual event in the game

I almost want to say Luna's Boat Song from Lunar, since it's one of the first actual songs I heard in a game, and it was campy and cheap and completely endearing. Not nearly as well done as some things done later in gaming, but it came from the heart and was performed from the heart in the earlier days in gaming

Outside of that, I feel like one of the Tales games had a song I adored. But I can't remember if it was Graces, Xillia, or Zestiria

This is basically the theme of MGS1 and when you listen to it, you can just feel all the powerful moments from this game flash to the front of your mind.

While most people will probably think of Sins of the Father and Quiet's Theme as the best original song tracks for this game (and they are great) I want tog give a shout out to this underrated 80s love ballad written for this game, and my default Chopper Theme.

I wish it wasn't limited to having lyrics because the vocal tracks in the Soulsborne series are fantastic.
