Discord Quiz

I have been bouncing an idea around in the ol' noggin for a while about running a quiz on Discord, using a voice channel. FF related, of course, because what are we, normal people?

I asked the question in Discord itself, and there seems to be at least some interest in the idea - but I thought I'd make a thread here too for those that missed the conversation.

So, would you be interested in such a thing?

Also, feel free to throw down some suggestions for rounds, or how you think the quiz would be best run. I am still working out the logistics/structure of the thing, so input will get the ol' rusty gears turning.

Sadly it will not be tomorrow as I have not gotten everything together yet.

However, I have been thinking a little bit about this whole thing.

Thinking of running it more like a quiz show with one person being asked a question, then moving on to the next with points being given out for each correct answer. This is to accommodate for Fynn who wants to participate, but has no means of being able to send me typed answers with any kind of speed (get a pc or something fynn gosh).

I was thinking of having rounds, but with this set up, I don't know how well that would work. So instead I'm just gonna have a database of questions about all sorts of FF and questions will be randomly pulled from it.

So, I'm just working on the database of questions now. Any suggestions of the kinds of questions to include would be neat. Otherwise it'll just be my garbage ideas of what qualifies as a good trivia question.

As a forum-side update, I have prepared a database of questions, so I will hopefully be getting the event put together soon.

Next update will probably be a date! Likely to be a Saturday for the best timings for our cross-continent friends.
