Did Shadow ever leave your party?

In the first half of the game, when he's an off and on party member, there's a 1/16th chance of him leaving after any given battle. Has he ever ran off on you?

The odds seem slim enough to begin with, but I don't think I've ever had Shadow leave the group.

Yeah, once.

I think it has something to do with have much money you have. If you have enough money, he'll go.

Actually, more often than you think. I tend to have a more difficult time getting him to important places in the game than not having him run off on me.

He left a time or two, but I always saved between the fights when he's there so I can reload. I love to keep it until the Barren Falls hehe :)

Looking back, I think he left maybe once or twice. It was never for very long and I didn't even realize it wasn't part of the story.

I just run from everything when I have Shadow because of how often he ditches me.

I do indeed remember this happening on my first playthrough a long, long time ago. I didn't use him much in my later playthrough.

A few times Shadow has run off on me, lately when I play he doesn't seem to. I think it may have to do something with your current GP value, this is all speculation though.

WTF? Are you kidding me? Yeah. He's done it to me all the time. Probably at least once every time I've played. And how is 1/16th such slim odds. I'm almost surprised it hasn't happened even more often to me knowing those are the odds.

After a night at the Inn, I woke up naked and he was gone. :(
