Anyone else playing this? I don't think I'm very far into it at the moment but I'm enjoying it so far. There is a lot to learn from the get go (if you, like me, haven't played more than a few minutes of a Monster Hunter game previously), and it explains the basics for you but doesn't really hold your hand too much which is nice. I find myself getting frustrated with the time it takes to kill a monster, going so far as to yell at the TV a couple times, but then the payoff is usually pretty awesome which I imagine is the desired effect.

If anyone is playing on the PS4 lemme know and we can do some hunts together!

I keep hearing great things about it so it's on my to-buy list.

I haven't played a Monster Hunter since the PS2 and PSP. This looks great though. Also on my buy list.

One thing I found super interesting; the physical copies in the Vidya store were not only sold out (for Western Australia this is shocking enough), but they had pre-sold out the next shipment that was arriving, and the two closest stores were the exact same. There was a rival game shop that had it for $30 more but I just bought it on PSN.

I have to assume they criminally underrated how big of a hit it would be.

This is my first Monster Hunter and I am so into it! I don't get to play for lengthy periods of time, and I tend to get caught doing SOS and optional quests, but I'm making my way through it.

Anyone feel free to add my PSN: ldowell
