I mentioned in the Tekken thread that 99% of my online fights were Noctis there for about 3 days, but it already seems to have died down. I've played a little bit this week and I don't think I've seen more than one Noctis.

He has really good moves at range, and I still don't know how to fight him yet, but he seems really punishable and side-steppable if you know what to do and how to react. He also has pretty decent mix ups, wake up games, and the warp strike stuff. Not sure if I'll worry too much about learning how to deal with him since I really doubt he'll ever be in another Tekken and I'm not sure how popular he will be in Tekken 7 in the long run.

I think Noctis would have made a better addition to Soul Calibur 6 coming out, but I know they wanted to him out with a current fighter while FF15 is more relevant. A Tifa/Zell/Monk character would have been more interesting for Tekken IMO.

you can play those slow fighting games if you want but i need speed and instant reaction time with no button lag to enjoy my fighters...
i just feel that with as fast as Noctis is he'd fit better in a fast fighting game, even Mai Shiranui from King of Fighters is way better in DoA5 than her native KoF which is slooow...
