Who are some of your favorite final bosses in gaming. I want specific battles, not just general if it's a recurring villain type shenanigans.

I hated the game, but Earthbound's final boss was legendary.

I remember being blown away by the 3D fight with Bowser at the end of SMW2: Yoshi's Island. I honestly didn't think something like that would be technically possible on a Super Nintendo.

It's actually refreshing to see someone say they don't like Earthbound. I liked the game when no one else did upon it's original release and still think most people are full of trout and didn't actually play it just to sound cool these days. Same thing with how Metal Gear Solid 2 and Windwaker are suddenly these masterpiece games when you would be absolutely crucified on the internet for daring to have a semblance of a positive opinion on those games.

Gamers in general are full of shit and overall terrible people.

This one will always stick with me. Not the hardest, but a pretty damn cool "Final" boss.

Haven't played the game in years, but I really enjoyed fighting Kessler in the original InFamous. Remember it being really challenging and fun.

As much as I dislike Touhou 12: Unidentified Fantastic Object overall as the black sheep of the series in my book, the final stage and boss fight against Byakuren is a work of art. The music and ambience are just exactly as divine as it should be. And while the fight still has UFO's bullshit clipdeaths (and I still hate curved lasers with a passion), it also has some of the most memorable patterns in the series.

Naming my favorite is a spoiler, so I'll just say the final boss of Bloodborne.
