Nail biting is the least of my bad habits.

I bottle up feels out of not wanting to deal with them, not wanting to burden others, or feeling nobody will care. Or all of the above.

Adding to that I put up walls in general. My life has been people going in and out like a revolving door. There's a lot of effort and emotion letting people in only to have them eventually leave, so sometimes it's easier not to let it happen at all.

Then I wonder why I feel like such a mess sometimes.

I WAS ONLY INTRODUCED TO BABY MONKEY RIDING ON A PIG TWO WEEKS AGO LIKE REALLY WHERE HAVE I BEEN

Honestly my habits were pretty much stated in your OP! However the nail biting has kind of got worse. Not only do I bite my nails but I tend to nibble the skin around them and I've started making the tips of my fingers a bit sore :/
