Welp?

I will probably have kids by then, not going to lie.

I'll be stuck in a happy marriage with a job I enjoy doing well enough and a loving family. It is going to be awful.

LAAAAAAAAAME.

I also expect to be married and have a loving family, BUT mine will be a GAY marriage and a GAY family, so therefore I'll be striking a blow for equal rights rather than being a slave to conformism.

Joking, obvs. I actually fully support straight marriage. Some of my best friends are straight people.

Legit no idea. Could be at the other end of the world with a new house, new pet(s) and new job. Could be exactly where I am now. 10 year is tricky to predict. If I'm lucky and I play my cards right, I'll be married, possibly with children.

I'm not really good at looking towards the future and have always lived in the moment.

10 years ago I was 23... living in Toronto, working on a Fine Arts BSc.
Now, I'm 33, living in Sydney, Australia, working as an RN in cardiac medical/surgical care.
10 years tomorrow I will be 43 ... ???

So much has happened... none of which would have been possible if I didn't go with the flow and take the opportunities that came my way.

Dead.

Climate change will continue unabated because too many rich people said it wasn't real, and this will cause food shortages. This will have a major impact on the UK's precarious food supply chain which is already heavily reliant on imported food and presumably this will have not have recovered from the Brexit troutshow either. The shortages will lead to prolonged civil unrest over the summer of 2026 with raiding and looting for food becoming rife across the UK until HM Government is able to restore order through martial law and enforced rationing.

Unfortunately this will come too late for your old pal Psychotic. I will have my noggin smashed in by a 17 year old lad in a grey Kappa tracksuit wielding a brick as I valiantly try to defend my last precious can of tinned peaches. I will be lying in my own blood and excrement for three days before dying aged 39 years and 3 months.

looking forward to it tbh should be a banger

Please don't make me think of being 46 years old.

I will be 43 and probably still mildly successful at a career I didn't plan for just because I'm easy to get along with and do my job.

But I'll wish I was up to something different.

And I'll still come yell at you all occasionally.

I'll be 40 years of age, more than likely married. I hope to have children by then. Have no idea career-wise. Could still be the field I'm in or else be in something else entirely. Hopefully I won't look a mess.

Let's hope EoFF is here in 10 years. I'm already eagerly awaiting to revisit this thread and see how far away I fell off the wagon.

Going, to be honest, and say still most likely struggling with depression.
