Grandia 2 by a mile. I tried Grandia and couldn't get into it at all.

Grandia 1. Sure, 2 is more streamlined and accessible, but I consider the characters and storyline in 1 way more interesting.

The original all the way. Both were good games, but I always felt that 2's storytelling took a nosedive after a certain event about halfway through.

Barring the originals awful voice acting, Grandia 1 is a pretty fun romp that's pretty playful which helped set it apart from the doom and gloom RPGs FFVII ushered in not long after.

I didn't vote because I haven't played any of them, but I like the character design of the first one better. Mostly that green haired girl.

Um...in the past two contests when there was a tie, you advanced the one you didn't vote for....

Those were ties *including* her vote, so she "removes" her vote to break the tie. This one is a tie only without her vote, so she decides it. I presume the poll closed before she got her vote in. Clearer now?
