Kind of an anticlimactic final. I feel like the real contest was between Persona 5, Persona 3, and Suikoden II. This is just swooping up the win. It's like the World Series between the Yankees and who gives a damn after the Yankees - Red Sox playoffs. (I don't really follow sports).

It's ok. G.U. made it to the semifinals, so I'm content.

There were so many great RPGs that didn't even make it into the contest IMO, either through being underrated or through being straight up forgotten about by those that even did play them; I totally forgot to nominate Odin Sphere and Undertale for instance >.<

I haven’t played P5 yet so of course I’m gonna choose BoFIV. And I’m glad I did anyway since it’s an excellent game that deserves more love.

Screw that waifu trout. Not only is it stupid, it's disrespectful to how awesome a character Makoto is. Makoto is the best character in the game, period. Not "best waifu." Not "best girl." Best character. In fact, "best waifu" makes it sound specifically like her social link interactions are the best, but I would disagree. I think Makoto has a pretty mediocre social link arc and there are better ones in the game. Her character really shines in the main story, not in dating stuff.
