Well looks like this is the end of the line for SoM, but not from me. This is pretty much as close as any race in this contest could come for me, but Secret of Mana ever so slightly edges it out for me. Chrono Trigger has it beat in the story department, although there is something to be said for the charming simplicity of SoM's plot and likeable small cast. However, SoM delivered a multiplayer experience unlike any other I've ever seen before or since. That and the wonderful vivid environments. Upper Land IceCountry. Beautiful. These games are extremely close to me. I even kind of regarded CT as a spiritual successor at the time. But one must be chosen and I'm choosing Secret of Mana, even if I'm the only one (Help me WarZidane, you're my only hope).

This tournament made me go back and plat the SoM remake. Even seeing all the game has to offer, I'm still voting for Chrono Trigger. I love the cast and soundtrack more. And that's saying something too, Secret of Mana's music is sooo good. This was a really close race.

As cool as it was, I never got the overwhelming about t of love SoM got. Suikoden II is in the same boat for me, but that’s a topic for another day. It’s just interesting to me how, getting into some old classics for the first time I get really hooked and love them as much as everyone said I would, with SoM and SuikoII they never reached that level of hype for me

Fynn summed up how I feel about...Chrono Trigger. :p

Voting Secret of Mana, though I know it won't win.

Wow, mixed feelings here. Happy that Chrono is winning, sad that Mana has to go. :spin:
