What's your favorite non-sword weapon in the series? Also, to make this much more interesting, I'm labeling gunblades as a sword so they're off limits. .

Fists/Claws, they see those reality warping gods and are like, "Imma punch it."

Spears/Lances are a very close second. They're just as iconic to the series as swords. And Dragoon is my DPS of choice in XIV.

Dual-wielded chakrams (like the FFXIV dancer has). I'm a sucker for dual-wielded "exotic" weapons like chakrams/tonfa. Sadly, tonfa hasn't really been represented in FF, showing up only a couple times as a different weapon class (nunchucks, poles)
