It's not exactly a wild twist, and I've been saying we'll fight Hydaelyn since the very first Shadowbringers trailer, but how about Hydaelyn and Zodiark being primals? Basically changes everything.

Also, those light monsters are fucking terrifying A+ design. Can't wait until one of our friends turns into one of the monsters, since they made such a point of telling us and showing us how people turn into those things.

Practically, it doesn't really matter whether they're "gods" or primals. That's also assuming we can take what that person says at face value, or that "the eldest of primals" even function the same way as your everyday summoned primal.

Yup, Stormblood felt like a breather episode after Heavensward. And after the breather it's a lot worse than what came before. I put Y'stola on the list of characters I think are going to die, but it's really unlikely. She's the poster child of the game. She got sliced in half at the beginning of Stormblood and was fine before the end of the first story. And by 5.1 she was up and running around.
