Well, this thread got off to an interesting start, I do declare.
As a change of pace, I'll give a straight answer. My girlfriend makes excellent tacos. She blends some tacos mixes together, spices it up a bit, etc. Served on warmed up soft shells with a variaty of shredded cheese, lettuce, and I personally put some sriracha on mine. We have them at least once a week and it also makes a great leftover food for my work lunch, though at work I don't make them all complicated since I just want to eat and then go for a short walk before break time expires.
But yeah, I totally love my mom's tacos. I can munch all day right there.

Y'all have to visit California to get the best tacos, though. We do it right pretty much everywhere here.

Has anyone here tried those tortilla bowls? I don't like them as much as the regular shells.

I have never, not once in my life, eaten a taco.

Is this maybe a UK thing? I remember Formy or Carny mentioning something about never having eaten a taco.
EDIT:

Nah. It seemed kinda like a taco salad but without the light, flaky shell the taco bowl usually comes in around here. I'll pass.

Are tacos the same thing as wraps?

I've definitely had tacos, I make them fairly regularly. Whether it's what YOU mean when you say "taco" though, I'm not sure.

No. There are soft tacos but if its wrapped it becomes a burrito

...Then I want nothing to do with those weirdo, non-wrapped wannabe-burritos. (Wannaburrito?)

Honestly, I cook so much mexican food just on my own. I don't know what I'd do if I couldn't have it at least once a week.
