Has anyone looked at the Final Fantasy Trading Card Game? I started playing just over a year ago now and I'm actually quite satisfied with my experience thus far. I've never been much of a TCG player—though I did get swept away by the Yu-Gi-Oh craze when I was in school—but I have been thoroughly enjoying FFTCG. In my understanding, it plays like a better, more affordable, more sensible version of Magic: The Gathering which sounds pretty compelling to me.

wow so rude

It's actually pretty good! (and is also currently the one social thing I am able to do to stave off the crushing despair) But definitely still a TCG so if you're not into those things, then duh of course you'd be so toxic / uninterested.

I play a deck that mostly comprises chocobos, so when I show up with my chocobo key chain and phone case and wark wark alert tone, motherfuckers know I mean business.

We got some booster packs and then proceeded to not give the game a shot. Maybe some day.

Booster packs. Starter packs. Something. I don't know TCG

I bought a few packs and starter decks a while ago, but I’ve never played the game. Some friends from work were going to learn to play with me, but we were never able to find time. Since then I’ve stopped being in a tcg mood, but I’ll probably try to find time to learn it some other time.

I honestly just like collecting cards in general. I like the quality of the ff cards, but I wish there was some more consistency with the artwork.

I haven't played, but my GF got me a few booster packs for our anniversary because she assumed I played. Looks interesting, but I've never given it a fair shot due to getting easily distracted by other things.

Sure, I'd be interested in playing Final Fantasy Tactics: Cosmic Genesis. Oh, what? Like analog Triple Triad or something? No thanks.
