I just watched the latest trailer for Final Fantasy VII Remake and I love how it looks so far. I'm going to have to buy me a PS4 when I get back home and find some room for it in my small room. I might have to unplug something in order to have it.

Who else is sold on FFVII Remake?

I'm still on the fence. SE is the king of making trailers look awesome and the finished product not being up to par. I still feel like the battle system has too many elements involved that exist solely to drag out fights as opposed to being actually interesting for its own sake. The Guard Scorpion fight really shouldn't be as long as the E3 demo was showing it to be.

I was sold from day one. Whether that means the nostalgia will blind me to its numerous flaws or I'll come on here savaging it because They Changed Everything who can say.

I'm sold too. I loved the trailer so much, both the gameplay and the graphics are amazing. I can't wait to play it.

Sold from Day One myself. I don't even care if it's not great, because let's face it, it's a tribute to the best game of all time and if it were done by fans to this graphical quality I'd pay just as much happily without question. I'm intrigued to see what new things it'll have. It won't make me love the original game any less, or look at it differently - we've already had the likes of Advent Children and not for one second did I hold that against the original game, which for me will always be it's own unique isolated thing. Everything else is just a viewpoint from whoever made it. Can't wait to see this viewpoint!
