I havne't been here frequently, for a while now. It seems you guys have all changed, I have a hard time wondering how I fit into this mix,

I wasn't really that active, perhaps I was at the beginning, and then again a few years ago. I have tried that Discord, didn't last very long. Maybe I'm just forcing my self to fit in; despite having where I am trying to fit in make me unhappy.

What do you guys think, or erm, what do you guys usually discuss?

All of the parts of the internet worth visiting to be certain.

not thinking women should be hated simply for existing, for one

It's true. I'm proud to be part of a community where the overwhelming majority of users respect women and don't feel entitled to their time.

Not only is it the norm around here, but it's also the norm around:

All of the parts of the internet worth visiting to be certain.

EoFF was right in the thick of the Wild West of the internet. But now we are more like those towns that try to recreate the Wild West that only your dad would want to go to.

hey Westworld season 3 starts todayHuh that one kinda slipped me by.

Is it wrong that I'm not enthusiastic purely because of how much the final season of GoT sucked?

That's fine, yet I think that same thing applies to men as well. I need to tell you something Jinx, I always envied your name. It's amazingly quaint.

I just started watching Picard, I subscribe to Crave so I am also watching Avenue 5 and Kidding. Netflix, someone in the Discord suggested Black Mirror, I like how it tackles deeper ideas. I just wonder if everything thinks that deeply to enjoy the show.

I'm pretty sure everyone here does, but I mean outside the post Wild West ghost town, outside our bubble. The internet changes so fast and, it may be the place only a dad would visit, no matter what I still love the lot of you, I will always.

No one around here hates men solely for existing.

This place was rad back in the day, and it was so active. Looking at it now it's so hard to believe. Like, there are boards here that haven't had posts in them since last year. I remember when like, a whole day was an unspeakably long time for any particular forum not to receive posts.

Yeah I think the nails are well and truly in the coffin for franchise specific video game fansite forums and are now a relic of days gone by. Even Zelda Universe, which long stood steadfast against the tide of users moving onto social media and the like, has seen a gradual but significant drop off in activity over the past half a year or so which is crazy considering how gargantuan their forum community used to be.

Game communities are the current topic of discussion in the course I'm teaching in at the moment so I look forward to learning what the ~'02 babies have had as an equivalent to places like this. Part of me hopes they had something close to the forum experience, you know? I feel like there's a lot of value in what we went through, even if not all of it was positive / efficient / whatever.
