Interesting match-up going on here. Truth be told, neither of them really stand out to me in the art department, Shadow Hearts 2 had a fairly standard art direction for the PS2 era while Ys 8's art direction is, well, pretty standard anime.

Giving SH2 the edge here though, because I did really like that style, plus the monster designs and the whole gothic vibe the game had going on.
