Ok wow I’m actually completely stumped for the first time

Oh man. I thought Undertale was overperforming in this contest, but it had some good category choices and match ups. That's all at an end now though. I'll give Undertale this, it's got some clever funny villains, but honestly so does CT, and it also has Magus.

Plot though? I mean Undertale has an interesting idea of a it, I guess, but CT is more of a great epic adventure plotm. I guess it depends on what kind of stories you prefer, but I prefer CT.

And music? Don't me wrong, I like Undertale's music, but it's just completely outclassed here. I'd say that's the category with the biggest gap.

Well much as I like Undertale it does not match Chrono Trigger for me, not on any of these categories. It'd prolly edge out Characters but alas.

Yeah sorry, it's Music, not side content. The problem when both matches more or less draw the same categories. ^^;

Music is a draw. Villains, maybe also a draw? Lavos is a boring villain, but CT does have Queen Zeal, Magus, Dalton, etc. So it comes down to side content, which CT wins easily. Does Undertale have much side content? Do we count going for the genocide route or talking to various people as a side content? CT has so many great side quests that I feel it has some of the best side content of all time.

Side Content also includes replay value, so the alternate playthroughs of Undertale certainly count in this category just as going after the alternate endings in CT would.

You're right, it was Plot not Side Content. Dammit WK these categories are confusing.

Well whatever, CT is a better game anyway.
