Are you a Hallmark/lifetime holiday movie watcher? Is there one you love?

I adore the movie The Holiday. It's not the best but I love kate winslet's part in it so so so much. It's a great movie.

Shauna and I get together to watch bad Christmas movies every year. Vanessa Hudgens has cornered the market in the past few years. Seriously, she puts out a shitty Christmas romantic comedy (debatable) every year. Idk but someone needs to see if she's okay.

I haven't watched any of hers yet but I did watch A Christmas Prince and the sequel? I haven't watch a Christmas... baby? I think?

There is a Netflix one, Christmas Chronicle with Kurt Russell as Santa and I liked that one a lot

A Christmas Baby is amazing. Truly. The dial the craziness up to 12. Also, it’s filmed on a sound stage instead of on location.

Did you see the Netflix one where a knight comes through a time portal or something and she falls in love with him over the course of the movie while teaching him how to be a human in the current year.

I can do Home Alone 1. Haven’t seen 2 in forever to remember how I like it. I also kind of enjoy watching The Santa Clause a good amount too.

There are very few movies I re-watch even after years, so nope. If I did though, it'd be more along the lines of Home Alone, Die Hard and Trading Places.

personally im a big fan of Muppet Christmas Carol.Same. Don't even care that it's meant to be a kid's film, fucking nails the spirit of it.

Also fuck everyone who cut out Belle's song from cuts of this movie thank you and goodnight. Yes I'm being mean but I haven't seen the movie yet this year so I'm in Mr Humbug mode atm.

Every December 1st, I break into the Christmas spirit with a silly jumper and a watching of Love Actually + another Christmas film. Elf, Muppet's Christmas Carol, the Holiday, and Jingle All The Way have all taken the guest slot before, and were very well received.

By me.

I'll give a thumbs up for Jingle All The Way.

Every time I watch it I'm like "oh yeah, young Anakin is in this movie".

Forgot about Jingle All The Way! Haven’t seen that in forever. I can also get behind Muppet Christmas Carol. Also I think Muppet Family Christmas was one I used to watch all the time? It had Sesame Street and Fraggle Rock characters in it.

I have Christmas movies I like to watch every year, but none are Hallmark movies, which I prefer to avoid watching even once. The movies I watch every year or most years include: Scrooged, Elf, Muppet Christmas Carol, March of the Wooden Soldiers (this is a Christmas movie, fight me), and a little less often but if I get around to it It's a Wonderful Life.

Just pulled this gem out of my DVD closet. Gonna find time to watch it sometime this week.

Ryan Reynolds wears a retainer and a fat suit in this one.
