I'm hyped. I love the game but I'm excited to see what comes after this expansion - it's felt like we've been treading water in the story ever since the end of ShB, and (imo) it's getting to peak Nomura levels of convoluted. It's a great decision to end the story in 6.0 and spend the following 5 patches setting up for the future.

However, MOONHYPE. Namingway beast tribe incoming? What are people's guesses for the new Melee DPS class? I know there's been a lot of talk of Necromancer (can't see that being a thing) and a Scythe being the weapon

A friend of mine finally convinced me to try this game by showing me the Lunar Whale mount (it plays the smurfing song you guys) he has.

So I spent my first day flexing on all the other sprouts by dropping out of the sky to all the newbie quests in a giant space whale.

Dumb question not relevant to OP but what's the deal with a Data Centre and a world? I get that worlds are clustered into DCs, but not quite sure how someone being in the same DC but a different world impacts me.

It impacts in the sense that if you're doing any content, the duty finder will pull from across all the worlds on the data centre to fill the gaps. So you'll see people with eg Odin or Shiva at the end of their names, as they're from that world.

That's really it. You can play your video game with anyone on the same data centre as you.

Well also you can visit the other worlds if you fancy. Market board purposes, usually, but you can also see your friends houses I guess?
