Forever Entertainment is working on a new remake for SE.

Of course we don't know what it is, but it's interesting that the studio responsible for a few Sega remakes of Saturn titles announced they are working with SE on a future remake. So any guess what it might be?

It'd be funny if, after doing Panzer Dragoon remakes, they start on Drakengard (aka Drag-On Dragoon) remakes. :p

They would have to remake Drakengard to make it good. The gameplay is atrocious.

Personally, I'm hoping for a Vagrant Story remake or maybe one for Live a Live since that game was getting a bit of buzz last year from some trademark shenanigans and has yet to really surface. There is also a possibility that they could be hitting up some of their third party acquisitions as well.

Worth noting that the remakes are apparently multiple projects based on one intellectual property and are said to have new visuals but the same everything else.

Based on that I guess we can rule out single entries and possibly games with terrible gameplay (since surely they'd want to improve those). Since it's a relatively small studio that hasn't really proven itself yet I imagine it's not going to be any heavy hitters either.

Maybe Front Mission games? Tactical RPG gameplay tends to age just fine and the IP has kind of been sitting there doing nothing (apart from that third person stealth shooter, Left Alive)

Front Mission or Vagrant Story would be great. I think FM would be the easier series to remake. As WarZ pointed out, the gameplay ages just fine.
