I'm all for this being on EGS. Exclusive? Ehh. But since it's on EGS, I'm happy to give Square 90% of my money instead of 70%. And it's a good sign that more Western publishers and Eastern developers are finding partnerships together (Sega and Square both having deals w/ MS and Epic, Capcom a main partner for Amazon's new cloud gaming service, etc). I just hope it'll have Achievements. :shifty:

I'll also need to refresh myself on the story. I finished the original game, god...10+ years ago. Pretty sure close to its release date.

I really liked the first game but I felt that one really worked well for the time it was released. The art style, music, crazy touch controls, everything was very mid-2000s. I wonder how this will go 14 years later.

I played the demo. I'm not sure how I feel about how the pins work in this one. For the entire party there's a max of 4 inputs. Doesn't feel very fluid. But neither did the DS controls in the original and now I find myself missing it in every port. The tutorial text said that you couldn't have more than 1 pin per input "for now" so maybe in the full game you can have more than 4 attacks.

Sometimes the chin diaper guy wears his mask properly and that is nice.
