Finallyyyyy. I still have my original copy I can play, but I'd rather play it on my PC. I never finished it (got to the Lynx transition and stopped for some reason), so now I can. I'm really excited.
Apparently some ppl are whining about the graphics. I think it looks fine. Could be better, sure, but still fine. I can't wait to play.
I wouldn't take too much stock in that article if I were you, that writer is a widely renowned hack.

Oh it was announced at the Nintendo Direct. Then SE clarified later it was also being released for PS4. XBO, and PC.

The graphical enhancements don't feel like a big leap, but CC was always a gorgeous game with a lot of care put into it. I'm happy it's getting some love though. The bigger draw here is that Radical Dreamers is being added to the remaster, which is super neat as well.

Yeah, the PC gamer article was by chance just the top article on my search. I actually was going to link something official, but was too eager to just paste anything lol. I figured ppl would've already known, but I like including links anyway. Plus they show the official video w/ the Steam logo on it.

I really want to explore why DK hates Wes Fenlon so. xD

A full remake of CC would be awesome but this still introduces it to a new generation. I like they added some quality of life improvements like no encounters. That especially helps for the NG+.
For CT, no remake or remaster necessary. A straight port is all that is needed as it is perfect on its own. That is one of those games I am saving for my kids for when they are old enough to appreciate it.
Nice to see Raducal Dreamers finally getting released in English!
Far from a favorite but I'll probably grab it just to support more gaming availability and preservation of history. Didn't even occur to me that turning off encounters would be great for replays with other routes. It immediately made me remember why i never finished CT back in the day. First game i played without random encounters and had the option to skip fights and eventually ended up underleveled and quit and never played it again lol

Oh god, I remembered I was playing it when I was a kid for multiple playthroughs getting all characters and still can't really figure out the storyline until I grew older!
I was playing the mobile game "Another Eden" last year by the same developing team, I think.
