Final Fantasy in 2025

No releases scheduled that I'm aware of. Just patches for Dawntrail. Anyone else know of anything that might pop up? Will be a weird year to have zero Final Fantasy games, not even a spinoff, remaster, etc.

They went hard the past couple of years for releases, so I'm not surprised 2025 will be sparse. But who knows, maybe they'll drop some sudden quirky spinoff! Lots of good games to play anyhow despite the state of the industry too.

I wouldn't be surprised if they had something up there sleeve. I mean a lot of their remakes/remasters have come out of nowhere, so I can see them playing their cards close. I am personally still betting on a FFTactics Remaster/Reborn edition coming out. There is also that FFIX anime that was being talked about a few years back. I could also see VII Rebirth getting it's own Interlude type expansion once the game releases onto PC.

We're likely not going to get a new numbered title, but maybe they'll throw us a curveball and release and new Dissidia title. I also imagine that they'll release a new FF Mobile game soon since they've closed down many of the other ones.
