Food Forum

I dont know if this is supposed to be here, so move it if it'd not supposed to be here, but anyways, Ive thought it over and I think EOFF should make a Food Forum. I find lots of people have a huge intrest in cooking and food, plus a place to learn recipes, and get tips. What better way to do that than to make a forum. I think a lot of people agree with me about this, but maybe Im wrong. Just a thought. I wish it could happen :D.

I don't think that Final Fantasy has much to do with cooking. Although, I haven't played any FF's past VIII, so who am I to talk? Maybe FFIX is all about the various arts of macaroni cheese.

Tell you what, give me a while, and I'll think about putting it to Staff, and we'll vote on it.

Unfortunately, I don't see how much attention a food forum would draw to an FF community.

Chef, there are plenty of fora dedictated to the subject of food. I think you'd have much more fun with those communities.

I agree with Scottie.

However, if you do want to ask your questions to EoFFers, you can continue doing what you've done and post them in General Chat, or perhaps we can ask for food-related topics to be moved to The Lounge, as to me that actually seems like it might be a more logical place for such topics. *dunno*

It might seem like a good idea at first to specialise and make huge amounts of forums, but the fact is that few people would be likely to look in some of them. Heck, the Study Hall gets almost no visits as it is, and I myself often forget to look in it even when I make it a personal point to do so. I suppose we could broaden the definition of the existing forums, however, if it seemed likely to draw more attention to neglected topics that the community deemed important.

Eh, I'm not on the staff anyway. *flees*

Scottie, dont get me wrong by thinking that I should go to another Forums, EOFF is my home for forums :D. Besides, I hate the other Food Forums, there boring, its exciting here! I love talking about other stuff too :D. Anyways, ya your right, guess its not a good idea, but it was just a thought! Oh well cant win them all! Thanks anyways guys! : )

I still think it would just be better if those who liked cooking just joined a good cooking forum though.

No No No, you guys dont understand, I dont wanna go to a food forum. LoL. I wanna stay at EOFF, I love Final Fantasy and other topics, I just happen to be a chef, and at times (most of them) I talk about food, but still, I like eveyone here, there so nice, and I dont wanna go to a new forum, they wouldnt know me ; P

Why not just do Cook -> Quina's 'Limit' -> FF9? :D And Devour/Eat is an ability found in FF8 and 9 too :p



Anyway, there's nothing stopping you posting at multiple fourms at the same time, I do that, and it doesn't stop me posting here at all :p But if yo don't want to do that, then it's up to you really :)

To be honest, although a good idea it sounds, it would not be practical.
Many people are interested in the subject, but not enough Id say to warrent a forum. It wold only have several topics wouldn't it...
Plus I think we have many forums anyway, one more which wont recieve much attention would clog up space on the server am I right?
