Does anyone know of a good N64 emulator that will run the Resident Evil 2 ROM? I've tried every one I know of, but none work. Is there a new plugin update or something I could use?

I don't know of any, but if all else fails, try the PlayStation ROM. I'm sure it's not all that different.

And if a PlayStation ROM fails, download Bleem! (if it's still around) and just rent it or something? =P

Sorry... I wasn't much of a help... but yeah... I'm just offering alternatives.

Playstation ISOs are a couple hundred megs. And you'd need a PS emulator to run them, though I already have one.

I contemplated renting the PS version and ripping it (I don't have anything to rip N64 carts), but Blockbuster doesn't have it. Only RE: Survivor.

Whatever you do, don't rent RE: Survivor. xD

Umm... they have RE2 and RE3 for computer now (I think).

Maybe you can download them (though I assure you that they'll be kinda big)?

Only N64 emulators I can suggest you try are Project 64 or Nemu64. I haven't got tha ROM so can't tell you any specific settings you may need. :p

I've used Nemu, Project 64, TRWin, Corn, and UltraHLE, and none of them worked. I haven't tried 1964, but I checked the compatibility website, and it shows that it can't play RE2.

I searched for Resident Evil on Imesh, and I started downloading RE2 (it was the only one I found), but I cancelled it after I found the ROM. Silly me.

I tried to play Zelda: Ocarina of Time with different emus, I had to look hard but after 6 or so emus, I used Project 64 and it worked. But N64 emus can be Pain in the a$$.

Anyway go to www.zophar.met to be able to try every emu out there and use Kazaa to find you files or Kazaa: lite (spyware free version)
