Something's wrong with my user settings

I've had this problem for months now. Every forum page I visit in EoFF shows the address as a really long string of chars. I have cookies enabled, and yes, I am logged on (how could I post this if I'm not). I'm using Internet Explorer (version 5.50 in WinMe, version 6 in WinXP, and I have the same problem in both).

Another flaw I have is that the "Location: [enter user's location here]" doesn't show to me under anyone's avatar. I've heard from several users that it should appear there. But for me, it doesn't. What's wrong with my settings and how can it be fixed? I attached a screenshot to this post which shows an example of both problems.

For the long string, it's the session id; you need to turn on "browse forums with cookies" to remove it.
About the location thing: annoy Scottie or Britt about it, they know how to fix that (I'm not sure if Rydia knows how to fix it).
