We all know the famous "unofficial smilie" of EoFF, xD or XD. I find it rather ironic that a smilie already exists for said letters, designed by an administrator of EoFF, and yet it is not available as a forum smilie in any case:

I think it's brilliant, myself. *thanks Mäjken* And I think it should be available for all to use. I don't propose replacing all occurences of XD, xD, or exdee with the smilie in text -- that would be sacrilege. But how about we use some code like :exdee: to symbolise the ? If anyone else likes this smilie enough to support its being added to the EoFF smilie library, please chime in. I can't imagine it being a particularly arduous hack.

Peace

As much as I can't stand any form of "xD", :exdee: will now produce that smilie.

(Sorry, I just couldn't resist the temptation to try out my new smiley. :exdee:)

If I'd known it existed, I already would have added it :exdee:

Yeah, the more smileys the better; they're easy to add, and have low overhead (read: smileys won't contribute to a repeat of tuesday's database problem)

I especially like this one, put in place by (if I'm not mistaken) Sean himself: :jap:

It's been on "The Villiage Mist" for a long time. I thought it was quite cute myself. Thank you for bringing it up, Manly. And thank you for making it easily available, Scottness.

When I see that smiley, I don't think of exdee, nor any other form of laughing, to be honest. I think it looks like someone trying to press a 1:8 scale Stuka bomber plane out his rear.
